1. What kind of music does your library contain? Our CD’s feature various styles of music including: Drama, Children’s, Pop, Rock, Dance, R&B, Country, Jazz, Orchestral, News & Sports, Latin, Christmas, World/Ethnic, Singer/Songwriter and more. With dozens of styles and thousands of tracks,you are sure to find what you’re looking for. 2. How is your library edited and what type of delivery options are there? Our entire CD collection features :60s, :30s, & stinger edits. Our CDs are designed for broadcast applications but can be used in a variety of film and multimedia productions as well. We deliver our music on CDs, DVDs and Fire-Wire Hard Drives. 3. How do I report music usages (for needledrop clients)? Music usages may be reported by phone, fax, mail or e-mail. License application forms are available online to simplify the reporting process. 4. Who can license the library for an annual license fee and how much do the license fees cost? Annual blanket licenses are available for local TV and radio broadcasters. Annual licenses may also be available for foreign broadcasters operating outside the U.S. and Canada. All other companies are subject to our standard per use (needledrop) rate schedule but blanket fees are available for specific productions. Please contact us directly for a competitive quote. 5. How many CDs do you release per year? We release between 30 - 35 new CDs per year. We greatly value client feedback and all new releases are client-driven. 6. I made changes to the video and/or voiceover in my production. Do I need to re-license the music (for needledrop clients)? Yes. Any revisions of the production or release in a new format require an additional license. 7. Do I need to obtain a performance license from organizations like ASCAP or BMI? It is the responsibility of broadcasters to hold valid performing rights licenses with ASCAP or BMI (in the U.S.) or with their affiliated societies (outside the U.S.). Broadcasters not licensed for performing rights through such societies are subject to clearance of performance rights directly from Songs To Your Eyes. 8. How do I find the right piece of music? STYE Advanced Search, is our state-of-the-art, on-line, audio search tool available on the net. You can perform a search on our entire library utilizing thousands of different combinations of key parameters such as style, genre, instrumentation, tempo, etc. We also have an experienced staff available to assist you with music search and selection. 9. What if you don't have the exact piece of music that I need? Songs To Your Eyes has state-of-the-art digital recording facilities available to create any custom music cues that you may need. With our extensive staff of composers, we can find the right match for your project and create perfect tracks in practically no time and at competitive rates. 10. I really like a piece of music, but it's too short and I need an alternate mix. What can I do? Most of the tracks in our library have alternate mixes of various lengths. If you can't find the exact mix or length of any particular cue, we can create custom lengths and mixes for your individual project. This may require an additional fee. Please call us for a specific estimate of the costs involved. 11. If my business is not located in the U.S., who should I contact to license the library? We serve directly all clients in the United States and Canada. If your business is based outside of the United States and Canada, please contact us to receive contact information for a representative in your country. 12. Can I order a demo CD of the Songs To Your Eyes Music Library? Yes, just write us an email or give a call telling us all about your current music needs. 13. Do you accept music submissions from composers/producers/artists? Yes, but only if your material is of MASTER QUALITY (NO DEMOS PLEASE).
